Conference Feedback, Press, Blogs, Commentary and Ongoing Discussions
Much has been written since the conference and many initiatives from the conference are gathering pace. The Liftupyourhearts2014 Facebook page has kept a running commentary and the APMN are taking up much of the ongoing discussions. Feedback from the post conference survey of participants will also be made available shortly.

Come to Wollongong
Wollongong is a great location for a working holiday. In addition to great beaches, places of interest and fine weather, there are major events in Wollongong 15-19 January including "Disney Live", "Celtic Woman" and the "Hawks v Cairns Basketball" at the Wollongong Entertainment Centre, as well as the "Illawarra Folk Festival" at the Bulli Showground, Wollongong. You can Sky Dive the beach, go to the Jamberoo Action Park or visit Nan Tien Temple, the largest Budhist temple in the southern hemisphere.

Dr J Michael McMahon will not be attending the conference, as had been previously advertised. Changes:
Keynote 3: Dr Clare V. Johnson will present Friday morning's keynote. Breakout D: Amanda McKenna and Gina Ogilvie will present a workshop on "Vibrant Music for the Worshipping Community." Breakout E: "Principles and Resources for Selecting Music for Mass" will be presented by Paul Mason and has switched from Breakout F to Breakout E. Breakout F: Fr David Orr's presentation on "Priesthood of the Faithful" has switched from Breakout E to Breakout F.

Fiona Dyball has to be in Boston on 15 January to begin her 2014 studies. Josie Ryan will be presenting Fiona's topic. Graeme Mundine, Amanda McKenna and Gina Ogilvie have updated the title and description of their presentations. Monica O'Brien has updated the title and description of the AOV/Willow Showcase.

When Arriving
Take a moment to familiarise yourself with the location. Have a look at our Exploring Wollongong map to identify your accommodation, the conference venue, the Free Bus stops, and other key landmarks such as Wollongong Station, the Wollongong Shopping District, Wollongong Harbour and Wollongong City Beach.
The nearest Free Bus stop to our venue is the Corrimal Street / Smith Street stop, marked on the map.
The Registration desk at the conference is open from 10:45 am until 5:30 pm Wednesday in the Ingham and Wilson Rooms at the Xavier Conference Centre.
For single day registrants, the Registration desk will be open each morning from 7 am until 9:30 am in the foyer area of the Xavier Conference Centre.
You can enter the Xavier Conference Centre from the Crown Street entrance or from the Car Park entrance. Please take a look at our Getting Around the Venue map for details.

To encourage taking advantage of lower Catholic GST Group EARLY BIRD pricing for Parish, School, Diocesan and Agency groups, we are offering Gift Certificates.
Parishes and other groups can purchase Gift Certificates for the various categories of tickets and provide these to parishioners and staff who can then use the certificates to pay for their registration. NB: Parishioners and staff must enter their Parish or Organisation ABN number during their registration process.
